Members of the Board of Directors also re-elected for a further term were Nola Watson, Ellie Brown, Judith Field and Warrick McLean.

The elections took place at yesterday’s meeting of the NSW State Council.

“I feel both humbled and privileged to be re-elected as President,” Mr Gorman said.

“In a time of great challenge in the business community across our State, it is extremely gratifying to have the ongoing support of the State Council as we collectively navigate through the vital business recovery processes so essential to reinvigorating our economy,” Mr Gorman said.

“Businesses have, and continue to be very resilient, however there has never been a more important time for Business NSW to ensure our members have the confidence to not just recover but invest and grow.

“It’s also very pleasing to see my fellow incumbent Directors re-elected, and together we look forward to the next two years with a great sense of purpose and optimism as NSW strives to bounce back from the ravages of the pandemic.

“NSW has a lot to look forward to in the next two years as the powerhouse of the national economy, and as a Board, we look forward to joining our members on that journey,” Mr Gorman said.
