About this Submission

Business NSW filed a joint submission to the inquiry into the Environmental Planning and Assessment Amendment alongside Business Sydney and Business Western Sydney. The submission emphasised the tradeoffs between the multiple objectives of the legislation, and raised concerns that the tradeoffs had been inadequately addressed in the draft legislation to date. The proposed amendment was subsequently withdrawn to undergo further work.
